The time as a colour

Literal mode uses the hour, minute and second as the three pairs of a hex colour, so 12:34:56 is #123456.

The hour never goes above 23, so literal mode only shows dark colours. #235959 is the brightest it can reach.

Scaled mode stretches each part across the full range, so midnight is black and 23:59:59 is white.

It reads your device clock and time zone, so it is only as right as that clock. It is only a display.

Nothing you do here is saved. Reload and it starts again in literal mode.
